Our DOP Genoese pesto faithfully follows the traditional recipe, using only the finest ingredients: handpicked DOP Genoese basil, premium Italian extra virgin olive oil, toasted pine nuts, and a top-quality cheese blend. This ensures an authentic, vibrant pesto that enhances not only pasta but also seafood, meats, and other dishes.

Gluten and wheat free, our pesto offers a high quality, inclusive alternative to pricey "free from" versions. Unlike many supermarket options that use cheaper substitutes like non DOP basil or add gluten derivatives, our pesto is made with only natural ingredients, maintaining its rich, authentic flavour and texture.

For the perfect pasta with pesto, simply combine a couple of teaspoons per serving of pesto with a splash of hot pasta water and extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl. Toss with al dente cooked pasta, sprinkle with cheese, and savour the flavor. Buon appetito!

Gran Cucina has its root in a farm at the beginning of the XIX century. After buying a farm, the great grand father of the current generation started growing vegetables whilst the great grand mother started preparing local delicacies using their own grown products. Within a few years the reputation went outside the village, they started to supply nearby cities and villages. The family got bigger and so more help came.

Now, more than a century after, the same family and the same recipes are followed, using only the best local produces, including the very famous Alba truffle which is used in many products, from extra virgin olive oil to truffle honey to truffle butter.
