Inzolia also spelled as Insolia is a white wine grape variety most likely originating from Sicily and grown mainly in the western part of the region. In Tuscany, the grape is known as Ansonica.
The Inzolia or Ansonica grape is very rarely vinified on its own and often used in blends, with native or international variety. The grape is known for its nutty aroma.
Inzolia grown in and around the town of Marsala is also used in the production of Marsala Oro and Ambra.
