The Gazzosa is another traditional and classic Italian soft drink, little known outside Italy. Gazzosa is an intensely citrusy scent soft drink, obtained from the infusion of the best Sicilian lemons’ peel. No sweeteners, preservatives, only natural aromas.

The Gazzosa is also used to make the "sciampagnino", a typical Abruzzo's drink which consist in adding gazzosa to the wine, not to water the wine down and make it frizzante, but to create a wine based cocktails, similar to the Spritz, that can be served as an aperitif. The sciampagnino can be made independently with red or white wines and it is also a refreshing solution to a hot day. As per the wine, any fruity, unaged, wine is suitable.
