Cantina Beato Bartolomeo is located at the foot of the Asiago plateau, on a hilly strip that goes from the medieval town of Thiene to the enchanting Bassano del Grappa. Gentle hills combed by vines, adorned in spring by cherry trees in bloom and surrounded by austere mountains.
It was Valentine's Day 1950 when 121 winemakers from the municipalities of Breganze, Fara, Sarcedo and Mason came together to combine passion and work: thus they founded the Cantina Sociale. A name was needed and, since in agriculture the benevolence of the Eternal Father does not hurt, they decided to turn to their most influential fellow citizen: Blessed Bartolomeo da Breganze, a Dominican friar and Bishop of Vicenza in the thirteenth century.
The Cantina, equipped with the most modern winemaking equipment and the belief that only using healthy and quality grapes quality wine can be obtained, have established themselves as one of the most quality driven cantina
