Fattoria Ramerino is a picturesque estate located in the rolling hills just south of Florence, in the charming town of Bagno a Ripoli. Spanning approximately 50 hectares, the farm is predominantly dedicated to olive cultivation, a tradition deeply rooted in the region of Tuscany. The area is renowned for its suitability for olive growing, thanks to its ideal sun exposure and favorable microclimate, which contribute to the exceptional quality of the olives produced here.
The olive grove at Fattoria Ramerino features around 6,600 trees, including a number of venerable, centuries-old trees. These trees represent the quintessential olive varieties of central Tuscany, such as Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino, and Americano, each contributing unique characteristics to the farm's extra virgin olive oils. The olives are carefully harvested and stored in ventilated crates before being transported to the mill and the processing takes place within just 12 hours of harvest, ensuring that the oil retains its optimal organoleptic properties, flavor, and nutritional value.
At the heart of Fattoria Ramerino is Filippo Alampi, whose hands on approach and unwavering dedication guide every stage of production, from cultivation and harvesting to processing and innovation. Together with a skilled and passionate team, Filippo ensures that the farm’s commitment to excellence is reflected in every drop of their olive oil.
