Irpinia Campi Taurasini,Tralci Hirpini (75cl)

Irpinia Campi Taurasini is a sub region of the Irpinia DOC and the classification applies to wines made from Aglianico grapes grown on the Campi Taurasi (the 'Taurasian Fields'). The 20-odd communes covered by this appellation surround the commune of Taurasi, the home of possibly Campania's most famous wine. Irpinia Campi Taurasini wines are elegant, capable of ageing, but also drinkable when young.

This Irpinia Campi Taurasini, aged in french oak barrels for about 12 months, has a very complex nose, intense with red fruit and spicy notes, in the palate is full, big, balanced, powerful, with a never ending finish. It pairs beautifully grilled meat and mature cheeses, especially the pecorino.

Tralci Hirpini is Fiano and their Fiano di Avellino, Greco and their Greco di Tufo and Falanghina, Tralci Hirpici is much more than Aglianico in the most vocated area.
