A great Pinot Grigio from the Alto Adige area, the northern part of the Trentino Alto Adige region, with a fruity nose, with hints of white fruit, pear drops, peaches. On the palate this wine is refreshing, lively, mineral with a long finish. Despite Trentino Alto Adige being one administrative region, in fact it is made by 2 very different areas, Trentino and Alto Adige, producing very different wines.
Made from Pinot Grigio grapes grown in vineyards located on the slopes of the Dolomites mountains, this wine is very a different wine from your usual Pinot Grigio from Veneto. It is elegant, with a beautiful freshness but a full palate, perfectly balanced. For a more round Pinot Grigio, we suggest our Pinot Grigio from Trentino.
This Pinot Grigio Alto Adige is perfect as an aperitif or to pair shellfish and fish dishes in general.

Located in Alto Adige, the norther area of the Trentino Alto Adige region, Tenuta Kornell is located amongst lush palm trees and ancient conifers, where the Mediterranean wind meets the dry winds coming from the north. The soils, rich in porphyry that quickly absorb heat during the day, creates the ideal weather conditions for growing vines.
Tenuta Kornell has been making wine for over 700 years and today like yesterday, Florian Brigl and his young team are united by a passion for viticulture, where people and nature work in harmony. Their philosophy is to produce unique, honest wines made with perfect grapes, native grapes, from Lagrein to Gewurztraminer.
