Join us and our wine expert, Andrea in the beautiful setting of the Town Hall in Durham and taste and learn more about Italian Italian Sparkling Wines. The whole world love Prosecco, but is Italian sparkling wine all about prosecco? How is prosecco made? What is Prosecco? Prosecco is an appellation with plenty of producers and wines, from Asolo to Millesimato, what is their meaning, their difference? But Italy is also classic method sparkling wines, we all know Champagne, but Italy offers some of the best alternatives, from Franciacorta to Trento. If you love sparkling wine as Andrea does, you don’t want to miss this one.
The tasting will include 5 different Italian sparkling wines and will last approximately an hour and it is limited to 30 people.
