Cocai Spumante Rose', Fondo Bozzole (75cl)

An elegant organic vegan sparkling rosé wine, obtained from the first soft press of Lambrusco of the Marani variety.

The soft pressing allows the extraction of only the best scents, the finest ones, and by immediately separating the must from the skins, it ensure little colour extraction and a lighter wine.

"Al Cocài", in the local dialect, is the cork that closes the bottles of wine.

In the glass the sparkling rose' wine has a bright and light colour, a fine perlage, with an explosion of red fruit on the nose, a fresh, refreshing, a wine perfect for aperitifs, light summer dishes or to drink on its own.

We have known Franco and Mario for a few years now, we came across them in a blind tasting of Lambrusco and fell in love with theirs. We rung and arranged to see their farm, their vineyards, and it was like we have known each other for ever.

They introduced themselves as being farmers before being winemakers, they have the utmost care for their vineyards and orchards, they work tirelessly, they consider themselves part of the nature, their environment, so everything is done keeping that well in mind.

Their winery, Fondo Bozzole, is located in the in the Oltre Po Mantovano, in the only Lambrusco DOC appellation outside Emilia Romagna. With a very small production, the winery is run just by them, each wine is unique and special, each wine is a drinking experience.
