A single vineyard, organic Pinot Grigio named after the vineyard, Maso Papa, located at 300 m a.s.l., from where its grapes come from with vines aged about 25 years.
The grapes are manually harvested and the wine partially fermented in barrels (circa 1/5) with its lees to add complexity and structure. This is not your typical Pinot Grigio, it has a warm nose, with pear drop and chamomile notes. The wine is full on the palate, important, soft, elegant and with a long finish. This Pinot Grigio not only is an excellent aperitif, but can pair plenty of dishes, from fish to white meat to risotto.
