Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane "Le Murate", Nicodemi (75cl)

A Montepulciano D’Abruzzo obtained from grapes grown in the Colline Teramane DOCG area and named "Le Murate" from the hamlet where the vineyards are located, the wine is a blend of grapes from vineyards cultivated using the "pergola" method.

A very good Montepulciano d’Abruzzo with a rich and fruity nose of black fruit to start with, with cherries, blackberries and currants at first impact, evolving into a more floral nose and spices. With crunchy tannins, the wine is warm, lively and with a long finish. This Montepulciano d’Abruzzo pairs perfectly aged cheeses, first courses with rich and flavourful sauces, and roasts and grilled meats

Fattoria Nicodemi is located in Notaresco, in the heart of the Colline Teramane DOCG zone. The vineyards, at about 300 metres in altitude, protected by the Gran Sasso mountain and only 10 kilometres from the sea, enjoy an exceptional microclimate. The winery follows organic practices, without chemical herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Nicodemi is also the story of Alessandro and Elena, brother and sister, that took over in 2000 from their dad who followed the steps of their granddad. Nicodemi is the story of their family.
