This Soave Superiore, only made in the best vintages and from a single vineyard, is a great white wine, aged in barrels, showing the potential of the Garganega grape when fully exploited. This Soave Superiore has a complex nose, with hints of white fruit, spices, in the mouth is full, luscious, with great structure.
The artisan who made it
The Dal Cero winery is another family that only recently started to bottle their wines, before they were selling it to some of the best Italian wine producers. They have vineyards in Veneto in and around Soave, where they grow their white grapes, Pinot Grigio and Trebbiano and in Tuscany, on the hills surrounding Cortona between Florence and Montalcino, where they grow their red grapes, from Sangiovese to Syrah, now at the fourth generation, they are taking their family winery amongst the top producers
