RS Classic Method Brut, Scubla (75cl)

Made with 100% Chardonnay grape, this classic method sparkling wine, this blanc de blanc or saten, is fermented on its own lees for 36 months. After disgorging, using the winery own recipe’s "liquer d’expedition", the wine is aged for another 6 months. This is a "brut" classic method sparkling wine.

The name “RS” stands for “Roberto Scubla”, owner and winemaker, this sparkling wine is his creation, it is a classic sparkling wine, not only in the method. RS is a sparkling wine created to celebrate, to mark, to highlight, important occasions and events.

The nose is complex, with a fine and persistent perlage, bread crust and toasted aroma notes, very ripe fruit flavour, clean, with notes of banana and tropical fruit. In the palate is a full and important sparkling wine, very elegant, this is an all courses sparkling wine, perfect for important aperitifs or dishes or to accompany spicy courses.

At the same time, he has expertly embraced other varietals that have found an ideal home in Friuli, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc.
