Aglianico is another grape that, when given the proper care and attention, particularly when vineyard yields are kept low, can produce outstanding wines, wines that are suitable to ageing, great wines, wines are revered for their depth, complexity, and ability to evolve gracefully over time. but also very versatile wines, wines that can pair a simple tomato pasta or a Margherita pizza.

And whilst the grape is grown all over south of Italy, the best wines comes from Campania, particularly the ones produced from grapes grown in and around the town of Taurasi.
